Minsk to host 18th Belarus energy and ecology forum 15-18 October

The 18th Belarus energy and ecology forum will take place in Minsk on 15-18 October 2013, BelTA learnt from the organizing committee of the forum.
The forum is organized following Instruction No.221p signed by the Belarusian Premier on 7 August 2013. The organizing committee comprises representatives of the Energy Ministry and other ministries and departments interested in the event. The committee is headed by First Vice Premier Vladimir Semashko.
The forum is designed as a review of the latest achievements in science, equipment and technology in the areas such as energy, energy saving, automation, electronics, environmental protection, the use of renewable energy resources, the organizing committee said.
The 18th edition of the international exhibition “Energy. Environment. Energy Saving. Electro” (EnergyExpo’ 2013) will be held as part of the forum. The expo, held since 1995, arouses big interest among the world’s leading producers of equipment, technology and materials for energy, ecology, energy saving and electrical goods and makes one of the biggest expos in the CIS and Baltic states in the field. In 2013 the expo will display products of more than 350 companies and organizations from 18 countries.
The program of the forum will also include the 18th Belarusian energy and ecology congress on 16-17 October. The congress will comprise a plenary meeting, seminars in energy, renewable energy resources, generating capacity, energy saving and energy efficiency in residential areas.
